SMC Asia Cars Distributors Corp. (SMC ACDC) is set to host the BMW Joyfest 2023. The three-day event is scheduled to take place from July 28 to 30 at the BGC Amphitheatre, 7th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The event will be a feast for BMW fans and future owners as the new and hardcore 2024 BMW M3 CS will also make a public appearance at the event.

Guests may expect to see some of the brand’s latest automobiles ranging from iconic sedans, sports activity vehicles to electric vehicles. Motorcycles that are sure to turn heads will also be showcased. The selection of new models to look forward to include the BMW M3 CS, the return of the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, BMW R 18 100 Years Edition, BMW R 18 Transcontinental, BMW R 18 B, and more. Visitors may even enjoy exciting test drives and test ride opportunities with select models. To make this event even more special, there will be exclusive onsite promotions that customers won’t find anywhere else.
As a recap, the “CS” in M3 CS standards for Competition and Sport. To deserve the CS name, the 2024 BMW M3 CS sets itself apart from the standard M3 with its sportier exterior look with plenty of carbon fiber bits, along with a 34 kg diet compared to the M3 Competition. The interior of the M3 CS comes with carbon fiber power-adjustable bucket seats with an illuminated M logo, along with an Alcantara steering wheel with carbon fiber trims. More carbon fiber can be found throughout the interior, while infotainment duties are performed through the iDrive 8 curved displays.
The 2024 BMW M3 CS is powered by an upgraded S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six that produces 543 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. Power is sent through an M xDrive all-wheel drive (AWD) system that lets you switch to RWD by pressing a set of buttons. It does the 0-100 kph run in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 303 kph. The M3 CS also gets a new cast aluminum strut brace, revised tuning for the adaptive dampers, and more aggressive tuning to the anti-roll bars and steering calibration.
On the other hand, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe makes a return in the Philippine market. The model will complement the two-door 4 Series coupe. Though not yet confirmed, the 4 Series Gran Coupe will most likely be sold in 420i trim, which means it’ll get a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine that produces 181 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. This is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic.
