2024 Nissan Z Now In PH, Priced From P3.888M

The 2024 Nissan Z has finally arrived in the Philippines, continuing a long legacy of Z-branded sports cars from the brand.

About two years after its global unveiling, the 2024 Nissan Z was finally launched in the Philippines. This time, no number has been attached to the Z name, unlike past models such as the 370Z and 350Z that denoted its engine’s displacement. The new Z is aimed to be a more affordable competitor to the Toyota GR Supra and surprisingly, it’s even priced right next to the Civic Type R.

There is only one variant to be sold in the Philippines and that’s the Premium variant, available in both manual and automatic. Whichever transmission you choose, 19-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels come as standard. The silhouette itself pays homage to the original model, while its other design cues are also inspired from past Z models such as the LED headlights that hark back to the 240ZG and LED taillights that mimic the design of the 300ZX. Surrounding the taillights is a gloss black panel that Nissans says sharpens the glow of the taillights.

Just like the exterior, the interior also utilizes a retro aesthetic but with modern touches to make the Z a thoroughly modern sports car. A 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster comes as standard, while an 8-inch Nissan Connect infotainment system is also offered with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Leather and suede upholstery are used in the sports seats, while sounds are pumped through a Bose sound system.

The 2024 Nissan Z even comes fully equipped with the full Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, ranging from Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW), Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and High Beam Assist (HBA).

Of course, what you’re keen to find out is the Z’s powertrain, which has a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 383 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque. This is mated to either a 9-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual with rev-matching. Another reason to get the manual is while a limited-slip differential (LSD) is offered as standard on all variants, the manual comes with a carbon fiber driveshaft.

Regardless of transmission choice, both models have monotube shocks that are larger than the outgoing 370Z. The new shocks reduce dampening force by 20 percent, which should help keep the wheels planted even on uneven roads. In addition, the front suspension is of a double-wishbone setup, which is superior to what’s in the GR Supra. Along with the increased body rigidity, wider front tires, and new electric power steering, the 2024 Nissan Z is 13 percent faster in terms of cornering response. Lastly, the 2023 Nissan Z also comes with four-piston aluminum brake calipers at the front and two pistons at the rear.

Interested? The new 2024 Nissan Z is priced at P3,888,000 regardless of which transmission option you pick.
