657-Horsepower 2024 Lamborghini Urus S Now In PH

The 2024 Lamborghini Urus S is now in the Philippines, and you can view it at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati until October 15.

Ever since the Urus burst into the automotive scene in 2018, this super SUV became the fastest- and best-selling Lamborghini of all time. In fact, just last year, the 20,000th Urus was already produced, just four years after its market launch. Now in 2023, the Urus has evolved to become more powerful than ever. It’s now called the Lamborghini Urus S, and it brings meaningful upgrades to the best-selling Lamborghini of all time.

Serving as a mid-cycle update of the super SUV, the 2024 Lamborghini Urus S sets itself apart through a redesigned front bumper with air vents that can be finished in gloss black or carbon fiber, while the new, sculpted hood feature new hood vents that signify that you’re looking at the updated and more powerful Urus S. Moving towards the back, you’ll see a subtly revised rear bumper with a matte black lower section with the quad exhausts poking through. Those said exhausts can either be finished in brushed steel (as standard), gloss black, matte black, or bright chrome.

Some of the exterior options that you can select for the Urus S include wheel sizes that range from 22 or 23 inches (as shown) if the standard 21 inches are too small (which they probably are), or you can opt for the carbon fiber hood option. Though this is still painted, you can see the carbon fiber finish when the hood is opened.

Moving inside the 2024 Lamborghini Urus S, you’ll see that the overall design is largely unchanged. There are still the familiar fully digital gauges, as well as a dual-screen layout for the infotainment system, namely a main 10.1-inch screen and a secondary 8-inch screen for the climate controls and drive settings. What’s new for the Urus S is the selection of interior trims and upholstery. This includes a new Bi-color Sportivo which skews towards a subtle two-tone color scheme, or a Bi-color Sophisticated which comes with brighter and bolder contrasting surfaces and stitching.

Of course, what you’re most likely particularly keen to find out is what’s under the hood, and you’ll be glad to know that the 2024 Lamborghini Urus S shares the same upgraded 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 as the more hardcore Urus Performante. Producing 657 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. This drives all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic.

While the Urus S is pitched as a luxurious alternative to the Urus Performante, its 0-100 kph time of 3.3 seconds and 305 kph top speed is nothing to scoff at. If things have become way too fast for you to handle, then the world’s largest carbon ceramic brakes ever fitted to a production car, which measures 440 mm at the front and 370 mm at the rear, are ready to bring you to a confident stop.

Interested in the 2024 Lamborghini Urus S? You can view it at the Power Plant Mall at Rockwell, Makati from today until October 15 (Sunday). As usual with PGA Cars, pricing for the Urus S is only available upon request, but for this particular unit on display, this car is specced to around P34 million.
