Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has just unveiled the new Isuzu D-Max Limited–a special edition model that is capped at just 200 units. This special edition model comes just a few days after the facelifted 2024 D-Max debuted in Thailand.
“The new Isuzu D-Max Limited makes the already appealing D-Max pick-up even more attractive to those looking for added character on their vehicle. Designed with uniqueness and individuality in mind, this vehicle is fit for those with a deeper passion in life, especially the adventurous type,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.
Based on the LS-A variant, the LS-A Limited as it is officially called, sets itself apart with its unique “Blackout Grille” with a red Isuzu logo placed proudly front and center. Those same red accents are also featured in the new front bumper. New step boards, as well as body graphics with a red Limited logo and 17-inch black wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolander all-terrain tires. Lastly, a stripe has also been added to the tailgate to complement the body graphics throughout the vehicle. It’s also worth mentioning that these accessories are designed by Isuzu Accessories and Service Parts, Thailand (IAST).
As for its interior, it contains a familiar set of analog gauges with a color multi-information display along with a locally sourced 10.1-inch infotainment system with the usual Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Since this is based on the LS-A variant, what you get are fabric seats, manual aircon controls, and no soft-touch materials on the dash as you’d find in the range-topping LS-E.
Powering the Isuzu D-Max Limited is the familiar 4JJ3-TCX 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic. The D-Max Limited also comes with Monotube Nitrogen Charged Performance Shock Absorbers with rigid rear shackles, which increases its ground clearance to 260 mm.
