The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid has officially arrived in the Philippines. As a representation of Porsche’s continued electrification efforts, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid bridges the gap with today’s exhilarating internal combustion engine (ICE) technologies with the forward-thinking smoothness and sustainability that zero-emissions mobility can provide.

Of course, the main highlight of the flagship of the Cayenne range is its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain. The 590-horsepower V8 is augmented by a 173-horsepower electric motor, in which the total system output is an astonishing 729 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque. All of that power is sent through all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic.
As part of the mid-cycle facelift, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid’s battery has also been improved. With a capacity of 25.9 kWh, the high-voltage battery installed beneath the load compartment floor enables an electric range of up to 82 kilometers (EAER city). As for charging, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid comes with an 11 kW onboard charger, and the supported charging speed is also up to 11 kW in AC.
As the flagship of the Cayenne range, the Turbo E-Hybrid also benefits from every Porsche chassis technology that’s available. Whereas air suspension is an option in other variants, this is standard in the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. Also part of the mid-cycle facelift is the addition of Porsche’s two-chamber suspension technology, which introduces separate chambers for compression and rebound. This creates greater flexibility in how the adaptive dampers are able to mitigate body roll whilst improving the ride quality.
These suspension upgrades are complemented by the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), which is standard in the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, while the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) active anti-roll stabilization and rear-axle steering are optional extras that will help the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid handle like a true sports car.

To highlight its sporting intentions, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid comes with subtle exterior differences over the standard Cayenne. The front end comes with a sportier design that’s characterized by larger air intakes with gloss black air blades, while the headlights look sleeker as these are now the HD Matrix LED headlights–an upgrade over the standard Matrix LED headlights of the other Cayenne variants.
The wheel arch trims are matched with the car’s paint, lowering the visual profile of the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. Also, being the Turbo E-Hybrid, the brake calipers are painted in a distinct neon green paint, while subtle E-Hybrid badging can also be seen in the fenders. Further back, you will see quad exhaust tips in brushed stainless steel, and unique to the Coupe body style (as shown) is a deployable active rear spoiler.

In typical Porsche fashion, the interior is meticulously crafted and well-built with plush materials and an easy-to-use layout. The roof lining is covered in Race-Tex, while a heated GT sports steering is also fitted as standard. There are also 14-way power-adjustable front seats and a new display for the front passenger as part of the mid-cycle update for the Porsche Communication Management infotainment system. Additionally, the Turbo E-Hybrid variant is also fitted with a Burmester surround sound system. Lastly, the Coupe variants come with a panoramic sunroof as standard as well.
