The CLA, already in its second generation, has mostly served as the entry point into the Mercedes-Benz brand. Now in 2024, the CLA received a mid-cycle facelift, and it’s now here in the Philippines. The new 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA comes with improved looks and tech features that continue to make it a solid choice for first-time luxury car owners.

From the outside, the mid-cycle facelift introduces a reshaped grille, redesigned LED headlights with high beam assist, and comes with a new, sportier front bumper. The side profile remains largely unchanged, but it now comes with a new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels. Finally, the rear end gets a new design for the LED taillights and the rear bumper.

Interior changes for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA are much more modest, but it comes with upgraded features for this mid-cycle facelift. The dual 10.25-inch screens for the MBUX infotainment system are now offered as standard, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also 64-color ambient LED lighting along with a new design for the steering wheel. Apart from the upgraded interior features, advanced driver-assist systems in the CLA come in the form of Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, and a reverse camera, among other features.

The model on sale in the Philippines is the CLA 200, which means you get a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 163 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. This drives the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This is enough for a 0-100 kph time of just 8.5 seconds.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA can be yours for P3,990,000. Alongside the CLA, those who want a luxury crossover SUV instead can take a look at the Mercedes-Benz GLB as well.
