Apart from the CLA, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB, which also receives a mid-cycle facelift, is now on sale in the Philippines. The compact seven-seater luxury crossover SUV comes with enhanced looks and more standard features in order to keep this vehicle competitive amid newer competition.

As before, the GLA on sale in the Philippines continues to be the AMG Line model, which means that the AMG appearance package is fitted as standard. That AMG Line package gets a new front bumper design that is complemented by a reshaped grille and new LED headlights with automatic high beams. The 19-inch AMG five twin-spoke wheels are unchanged from the outgoing model, however. At the back, the LED taillights have been given a cleaner look, while the rear bumper also sees a slight redesign.

Inside, the changes are much more modest, though the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB now comes with more standard luxury features. The 10.25-inch version of the MBUX infotainment system is now standard, but the driver’s digital screen is still 7 inches in size. There are plenty of storage areas along with power-adjustable front seats. As expected, there’s also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Artico synthetic leather and suede upholstery. Furthermore, the GLB also comes with a good number of standard advanced safety features, such as Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist, and a reverse camera, just to name a few.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB on sale in the Philippines is the GLB 200, which means it gets a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 163 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. This drives the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This is good enough for a 0-100 kph time of 9.3 seconds.
Interested? The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB is now on sale for P4,590,000. If you want something smaller and more personal from Mercedes-Benz, the equally new CLA 200 Progressive is also now on sale in the Philippines for P3,990,000.
