The facelifted 2025 Audi e-tron GT has just been revealed, and the most significant changes here aren’t on the looks. While the new e-tron GT looks nicer inside and out, the significant changes that Audi made are mostly under the skin. In fact, the changes are enough to make this the most powerful Audi to date—more so than the R8 supercar.

For starters, all models now have a larger 97 kWh battery that replaces the 84 kWh battery. This gives the new e-tron GT up to 609 km of range in the most efficient of the three variants, which is the base S e-tron GT. Regardless of variant, all models now support up to 320 kW of DC fast charging, much more than the 270 kW that the pre-facelift model is capable of accepting. Also, the e-tron GT can sustain a 280 kW charge longer than the previous model can sustain its 270 kW charge rate. Finally, the regenerative braking has been uprated from 290 kW to 400 kW.

Now, for the power figures. The base S e-tron GT is the “least powerful” of the bunch with 670 horsepower, which is good for a 0-100 kph time in 3.4 seconds. The RS e-tron GT now produces 845 horsepower and is good for a 0-100 kph time of just 2.8 seconds. Finally, the RS e-tron GT Performance produces a whopping 912 horsepower, making the RS e-tron GT Performance the most powerful Audi to date. This model also has a 0-100 kph time of just 2.5 seconds.
With great power comes great responsibility, and therefore Audi has fitted new brakes to the e-tron GT. The S e-tron GT comes standard with steel discs while the RS models have tungsten carbide-coated discs. If you want more stopping power, all three variants can be optioned with carbon-fiber ceramic discs and 10-piston front calipers. Finally, to make the e-tron GT corner better, upgrades have been made to the standard air suspension and the optional active suspension, now offering a “nearly horizontal during dynamic braking, steering, and acceleration,” and this is complemented by rear-wheel steering that you can opt for the e-tron GT.

Now as for the design, the 2025 Audi e-tron GT has been given a revised front end. Both models have a new front grille, with the RS e-tron GT having a more aggressive front bumper design. There are also new alloy wheel choices, and then the rear bumper is also new. The RS e-tron GT Performance also has forged carbon-effect exterior trims as a way to set itself apart from the other variants.

Changes made to the interior of the 2025 Audi e-tron GT are even more minor, as these are limited to new seats, and a new steering wheel. There are also new interior colors, trim, and upholstery choices such as Dinamica microfiber and wood. A new, albeit optional panoramic glass roof can turn opaque or transparent as opposed to a traditional shade. Finally, the Audi virtual cockpit has also been updated and there’s a new mix of materials, including wooden inlays, Dinamica microfiber, and optional 18-way adjustable seats.
The 2025 Audi e-tron GT is set to hit showrooms beginning this year, most likely in Europe and North America first. A Philippine launch through PGA Cars could happen sometime in 2025.
