Isuzu Philippines has finally brought in the facelifted D-Max after a month-long teaser campaign and numerous covered units being spotted on public roads. Now that the 2024 Isuzu D-Max has finally arrived in the Philippines, this is what you need to know about it and what are its specifications.

When counting the transmission and drivetrain configurations, there’s a total of 12 different variants of the 2024 Isuzu D-Max. This kicks off with the Single Cab variant that’s mostly meant for fleet use, while the LT is also a fleet-oriented unit but in a dual cab layout. These variants come with halogen headlights as well as 17-inch steel wheels. All of these fleet-oriented variants are available in both 4×2 and 4×4, with the latter finally coming with a locking rear differential as standard.
Up next are the so-called “lifestyle” variants, also both available in 4×2 and 4×4. This kicks off with the LS-A and LS-A Plus which now gets you 18-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, a gunmetal and black grille, step boards, and overfenders. Opting for the 4×4 adds LED headlights and LED foglights. Finally, the range-topping LS-E, which is now available as a 4×2, gets all the bells and whistles such as automatic leveling for the LED headlights, LED foglights, a blacked-out B-pillar, and a cargo sail.

Moving inside the 2024 Isuzu D-Max, the dash and gauge cluster has seen a slight redesign, though the degree of the changes highly varies depending on the variant. The fleet-oriented Single Cab and LT get analog gauges, a 1-DIN radio with Bluetooth, USB, and AUX-in, basic fabric seats, and a urethane steering wheel.

Expectedly, the lifestyle variants, which kick off with the LS-A, get a 4.2-inch color multi-information display, a 9-inch locally-supplied infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, and high-grade fabric upholstery. There’s also the LS-A Plus which gets wireless charging, as well as a larger 10.1-inch touch screen with wireless smartphone integration features, which likewise continues to be a locally-supplied infotainment that Isuzu Philippines continues to insist on. Finally, the range-topping LS-E gets a 7-inch partly-digital instrument cluster, an eight-speaker sound system, leather seats and steering, automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, as well as a soft-touch dashboard.

Now, as for engines, the 2024 Isuzu D-Max is largely unchanged. The 1.9-liter turbocharged four-cylinder RZ4E diesel engine still produces 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque, while the 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX turbo four-cylinder diesel still produces 190 hp and 450 Nm. This is mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic, while 4×4 variants, as mentioned, now come with a locking rear differential as standard m a 360-degree camera with a Digital Video Recorder function, while the range-topping LS-E adds front parking sensors, seven airbags, as well as the full suite of Isuzu’s camera-based advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) called Smart Duo Cam. Smart Duo Cam includes the usual automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, automatic high beam, and adaptive cruise control.
