The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is now in the Philippines, which receives a comprehensive mid-cycle facelift that improves upon its looks and tech features. Oh, and this time around, it’s now available as a hybrid to compete with the RAV4 Hybrid and CR-V RS e:HEV.

Three variants will be sold: Gas, Diesel, and Hybrid. Whatever the variant, all three models don a slightly redesigned front fascia with a more vertical take on the Parametric Jewel grille of the pre-facelift. The hidden LED daytime running lights are now thinner and are vertically stacked this time around. This is complemented by a redesigned front and rear bumper, and new alloy wheel designs for all variants. Smart entry with push-button start and a powered tailgate are some of the standard features in the Hybrid variant.

Surprisingly, however, the interior changes for this facelift are much more pronounced. Hyundai has given the Tucson a completely new horizontal dash design that integrates two 12.3-inch screens. The screens are running the latest connected car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system and it comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The facelifted Tucson also marks the return of physical controls for the interior, while there is now an electronic column shifter inspired by the Ioniq 5. Some of the interior highlights of the Hybrid variant include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, leather upholstery, and power-adjustable front seats, among other features.
Under the hood of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor. It is a parallel hybrid system that works in tandem with a six-speed automatic transmission. All-in-all, the system output is 235 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque. The 2.0-liter Gas and 2.0-liter Diesel variants carry over unchanged in terms of their powertrains, with the former’s engine producing 156 horses and 192 Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic, while the latter’s engine produces 186 horsepower and 416 Nm of torque that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic.

Finally, the full Hyundai SmartSense suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) features are fitted as standard in the Tucson Hybrid, and these include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Following Assist, Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist, and a Surround View Monitor 360-degree camera system, just to name a few.

Unfortunately, the full specs for the Tucson Gas and Diesel have not yet been revealed yet, but prices for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson range are as follows:
- GLS Gas – P1,680,000
- GLS+ Diesel – P1,980,000
- Hybrid – P2,290,000
