601-HP 2025 BMW i5 M60 Touring Now In PH, Price From P7.990M

The 2025 BMW i5 M60 Touring makes its Philippine debut at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show. The pinnacle of BMW’s electric wagon range offers loads of performance with its dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) which makes it one of the fastest cars to ever come out of BMW M.

That’s thanks to those two electric motors providing 590 horsepower and 795 Nm of torque, but that’s not what it’s fully capable of. Activate ‘Boost’ mode from the steering, and it rises to a whopping 601 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque for a short period. This is enough for a 0-100 kph time of just 3.8 seconds and an electronically limited 230 kph top speed.

With a. 81.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, the i5 M60 Touring has a range of up to 506 kilometers based on WLTP test cycles. The battery accepts up to 22 kW on AC, while DC fast charging capabilities are up to 205 kW, which is good for a 10 to 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes. Furthermore, the i5 M60, being an M Performance model, comes with M Adaptive Suspension for improved handling and ride comfort, along with sharper steering with variable weight, and M Sport brakes.

Now, because this is an M Performace car and not a full-blown M car, the 2025 BMW i5 M60 mostly retains the overall shape of a standard i5 (or 5 Series), albeit with the M Sport package. The i5 M60 gets a sportier front bumper, the IconicGlow kidney grille, and adaptive matrix LED headlights. This version also rides on 21-inch wheels, while the model that’s on display is fitted with a number of carbon fiber BMW M Performance parts, as you’ll see in the front bumper, the side skirts, and the door sill plates.

Inside, the i5 M60 Touring mostly retains the look of the standard 5 Series. You’ve got the iDrive 8.5 twin curved displays, but the front seats in this model have a higher variability of adjustments. There’s also an 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, the BMW Interaction Bar ambient LED ambient lights, and perforated Merino leather upholstery.

Those seated at the rear are treated to rear sunshades for added sun protection and privacy, along with their own two-zone climate control, thus giving the i5 M60 Touring four-zone climate control. Finally, you’ve also got a large panoramic sunroof and a powered tailgate.

The 2025 BMW i5 M60 is now on sale on BMW i dealerships in the Philippines, which are RSA Motors Greenhills and Autoallee BMW, and is priced at P7,990,000.
