2025 Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2 Now In PH, Priced From P32.490M

The highly exclusive and bespoke Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2 has arrived in the Philippines, with the sole unit retailing for P32.490M.

The highly exclusive and extremely capable Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2 has finally arrived in the Philippines, giving us one of the around 2,500 units to be produced worldwide. If there are any well-heeled folks out there who want to be the owner of the Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2, you’d better act fast because there’s only one that’s allocated (for now) in the Philippines, and it costs P32,490,000.

For reference, a Range Rover Sport starts at P11,990,000 in the Philippines, so what does spending nearly three times that price get you? Well, for starters, it gets a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 sourced from BMW, which is not just any V8 from the German luxury automaker, mind you.

They got the best of the best, the S68 engine that powers a host of BMW M cars. In the Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2’s case, it produces 626 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, sending power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic. This is enough to let the Range Rover sprint from zero to 100 kph in just 3.6 seconds, thus making it the fastest Range Rover model to date.

This vehicle is not just about power, because this is a two-row luxury SUV that has sportscar-like handling to match. Thanks to its 6D Dynamics air suspension, every movement of the vehicle is eliminated when pushing this car through the corners. The reason why it’s called “6D” is that the suspension also has four diagonal shocks in each corner, on top of the two shocks it’s already fitted with. As a result, every body movement from rolling left to right, or even the squatting and diving motions, is eliminated. This is a luxury SUV that defies the laws of physics.

Credit the 82 feet worth of hydraulic plumbing across the vehicle, and it’s the main reason why the 6D Dynamics suspension can individually control each wheel as needed. Coupled with a quicker steering rack, rear wheel steering, and other chassis improvements, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2 is also the sportiest and most track-capable Range Rover ever.

Yet at the same time, this is still a Land Rover, which means that unparalleled off-road capability is still key. Though the sportier, more aggressive aero will limit the kinds of steep grades it can climb, the Terrain Management system is still there to make this sporty Range Rover easily handle the steep condominium and mall parking lots that this vehicle will mostly be driven in.

Oh, and you’ll definitely be fearful of taking this off the beaten path, because those 23-inch carbon fiber wheels will be an expensive fix. Hidden inside those wheels are one of the largest carbon ceramic brakes you’ll see in a production car. Other stuff that’s made out of carbon fiber includes a few exterior trims, as well as the entire hood. In the Philippines, the sole unit that’s been allocated for now is finished in a matte Sunrise Copper paint, but there’s also Blue Nebula, Marl Grey, and Ligurian Black.

Inside, you can pretty much expect the pinnacle of luxury in the Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2. While it gets sporty bucket-like seats, this is upholstered in the finest leather upholstery in the brand’s bespoke SVO division–the team handling the Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2’s material curation. There’s also a ton of carbon fiber and satin silver surfaces, and a cutting-edge Pivi Pro infotainment system that’s matched with a 29-speaker Meridian Signature Sound System.

Remember those seats? They’re actually part of the surround sound system because these are called Body and Soul seats (BASS). Through the sound system’s SUBPAC™ vibrotactile technology, you can feel the sound, such as the thud of bass-heavy music. Aiding the sound system’s realism is its AI optimising software with two haptic amplifiers and four in-built transducers.

Luxurious? Yes. Capable? Absolutely. It’s a single car that can be a family vehicle, an off-roader, and a track monster. P32,490,000 seems expensive, but think about it this way. It’s pretty much three cars in one, and with that perspective, then P32 million doesn’t sound so bad, doesn’t it? We’re kidding, it’s still a huge amount of money, but if you’re in the market for a highly exclusive and capable Range Rover, this is the pinnacle of it all.
