Ford isn’t resting on its laurels with the Territory compact SUV. That’s because while it remains a popular model for Ford in the Philippines, newer and sometimes even cheaper competition are aiming to steal the limelight from the Blue Oval brand. Thankfully, that’s where this new, electrified Territory comes in. Yes, for the first time ever, and also making its world premiere in the Philippines, this is the 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid.

But wait a minute, doesn’t Ford already have a hybrid Territory overseas? Why yes, you’re right, but that’s a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), in the same vein as the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i. This marks the world reveal of the 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid that doesn’t contain a plug, which should please drivers who don’t want to think about charging at all.
Of course, the main headline change here is its 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder that’s augmented by an electric motor. Ford Philippines says they are not yet ready to reveal the total system output, but separately, the electric motor produces 218 horsepower, while the turbocharged engine produces 150 horsepower. This is all hooked up to a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) or a two-speed automatic.
Thanks to a 60-liter fuel tank, the 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid has a driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers. Best of all, despite the presence of a lithium-ion battery pack for the hybrid system, the Territory Hybrid retains its cargo capacity from the outgoing non-hybrid version, whilst also retaining the spare wheel.
Ford also used this opportunity to tweak the Territory Hybrid’s chassis. New suspension tuning promises improved ride comfort and handling, while a new electric power steering rack has enabled Ford to introduce variable steering modes. Lastly, a new Comfort Braking slightly tweaks the brake force delivery by offering a more linear braking application, even with sudden jabs of the brake pedal. Braking distance isn’t affected by this feature, as it only smoothens out the driver’s inputs on the brake pedal, but if you don’t want this system activated, Comfort Braking can easily be turned off.

The introduction of the 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid also marks the mid-cycle facelift of the popular crossover SUV. Immediately making its presence felt is its more robust front fascia, containing angular LED headlights as standard. Opting for the Titanium X adds the “Coast-to-Coast LED light bar” for a more distinct nighttime appearance.
These front fascia enhancements are complemented by a horizontal mesh grille, along with new two-tone wheels in 18s for the Trend and 19s for the Titanium X. Lastly, the rear end gets a redesigned rear bumper to match the Territory Hybrid’s more robust front-end design, while a powered tailgate is exclusive to the Titanium X.

Moving inside the Territory Hybrid, you’ll see the improvement in fit-and-finish, as well as the materials used across the interior. There are more contrasting yellow stitching details on the dash and doors, while an 8-speaker Arkamys SoundStage, a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with FordPass telematics services, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, are standard on all variants.
As for what separates the interior amenities of the Trend and Titanium X, the former gets synthetic leather upholstery and a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, while the Titanium X gets perforated leather seats, front seat cooling, multi-color ambient LED lighting, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety continues to be a highlight in every Ford model, as even the Trend gets a 360-degree camera system, along with the usual array of airbags, electronic stability control, and ABS with EBD. Exclusive to the Titanium X is Ford’s suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane centering, blind spot warning, and rear cross traffic alert.
The 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid is now on sale across Ford dealerships nationwide with the following prices:

As an exclusive offer, customers who get the Territory Hybrid will get a free illuminated Blue Oval logo along with a “HYBRID” theme decal to give it an even more upgraded look.
