ROX Motor used the 2026 Manila International Auto Show as a venue to showcase the new 2026 ROX Adamas. The ROX Adamas is the facelifted version of the ROX 01, which debuted in 2024. Embodying ROX Motor’s core product philosophy of “Gliding Luxury,” the Adamas aims to stand out with its rugged yet stately design, coupled with thoughtful touches to offer a blend of active off-roading capability and refined elegance.
That Gliding Luxury philosophy begins with the exterior design of the Adamas. Since this is an evolution of the 01, the Adamas inherits most of its ruggedness, but with subtle refinements. Up front, the grille now has more body-colored sections, giving this plug-in hybrid range extender electric vehicle (REEV) a more cohesive look. As for the body cladding that has remained, this has been swapped for gloss black instead of the usual matte finish. There’s also a new multi-spoke alloy wheel design, while the T-shaped LED headlights and taillights, which have become a design signature of ROX, remain unchanged.
As for the interior, the cabin is crafted in the finest materials. There’s a generous serving of wood and Nappa Leather, while the two screens that are powered by the ROX OS are where most vehicle functions are controlled. The interior can feature seating for six or seven. Both versions utilize captain’s chairs, but the six-seater version has more luxury features for those captain’s chairs. The seven-seater version, meanwhile, has a third row that’s meant to seat three occupants.
ROX Motor has built a reputation for luxury REEVs, and the ROX Adamas continues to feature such a drivetrain. The REEV drivetrain has a 235-km pure-electric range and a staggering 1,226-km WLTC-rated hybrid driving range. The 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder never powers the wheels. Instead, it only acts as a generator that charges the battery. The ROX Adamas has a dual-motor AWD system that delivers 469 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque, capable of propelling the vehicle from 0 to 100 kph in 5.5 seconds.
For all-terrain mastery, the ADAMAS features a closed air suspension system with DCC adaptive damping. As part of its suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), the ROX Adamas has an advanced off-road cruise control (2–15 kph) and a dedicated desert thermal management system that guarantees extreme reliability and consistent performance even under the most demanding climates.
The ROX Adaman takes advantage of its REEV drivetrain and its high-voltage battery as it comes with a 2.2kW internal and 3.5 kW external vehicle-to-load (V2L) output, a roof-edge canopy, and the brand’s signature Tailgate Kitchen 2.0, allowing users to effortlessly transform their vehicle into a highly refined space for outdoor living.
