2026 GAC Emzoom Received Mid-Cycle Facelift, Starts At P1.059M

Take a look at the facelifted 2026 GAC Emzoom, which gets a slightly improved exterior and a heavily improved interior.

The facelifted 2026 GAC Emzoom arrives in the Philippines, marking the latest evolution of one of the brand’s most popular models. As you’ll also probably notice, it drops the GS3 nomenclature in favor of a simpler naming structure for the popular compact crossover SUV.

The 2026 GAC Emzoom arrives in two distinct variants: the GB and the R-Style. From the outside, both models retain their striking exterior design but with a few additional refinements to tidy up their looks. In the case of the GB, it now gets a “Star Diamond” grille design for a more elegant look, and this is coupled with new rain-sensing wipers and a frameless-type rear wiper. The 18-inch wheels retain their design as well. As for the R-Style, the overall design remains unchanged, but the new Black Edition package removes the contrasting exterior highlights for a more cohesive design.

Inside the 2026 GAC Emzoom is where this vehicle receives prominent changes. The dashboard design is all-new, now featuring a more mature design with sleeker shapes and more premium materials. The new dash is designed to accommodate a new, much larger 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen. It features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 50-watt wireless charging pad for all variants.

The interior color scheme of the GB variant is Blue and Black, while the range-topping R-Style gets a Brown and Black interior. Speaking of which, splurging for the higher-end R-Style adds ventilation and power adjustment for the driver’s seat, along with ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, and a six-speaker sound system.

Under the hood, the Emzom gets a 1.5 turbo four-cylinder that’s hooked up to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission that drives the front wheels, producing 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. The R-Style retains its sports exhausts with a dedicated sport mode that improves its exhaust sound.

Lastly, the Emzoom R-Style also features a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning with rear-facing cameras, and a new automated parking feature.

“The 2026 EMZOOM is a vanguard of our Philippine lineup, embodying refined quality and dynamic performance,” said Steven Wang, Senior VP of GAC International. “We are deeply grateful to our Filipino customers for choosing this vehicle, and we remain dedicated to providing them with unwavering, long-term support as we uphold our commitment to engineering precision and everyday versatility.”

The new 2026 GAC Emzoom retails for P1,059,000 for the GB and P1,159,000 for the R-Style. GAC Philippines delivers a “zero-anxiety” ownership experience for the 2026 Emzoom and the rest of its lineup by combining global R&D expertise with robust local infrastructure. Managed directly by GAC headquarters, the brand ensures seamless service through an expanding network of 30 dealerships nationwide and a dedicated Manila warehouse for rapid parts fulfillment.
