MG Philippines Has Started Deliveries Of G50 Plug-In Hybrid MPV

The MG G50 plug-in hybrid has already started reaching customers, in which around 800 units have so far been reserved.

SAIC Motor Philippines Incorporated has officially started the retail sales of the G50 PHEV in the market. This marks a significant milestone in the brand’s electrification journey, highlighted by the ceremonial turnover of the first batch of units to its initial customers. The G50 PHEV has proven to be a blockbuster product, securing over 800 reservations since its unveiling at the Manila International Auto Show in April 2026.

The turnover ceremony was held at MG Alabang, where Mr. Mauro Cortez, a business owner who plans to utilize the MG G50 PHEV for his furniture business operations, and Mr. Reginald Gregorio, who chose the vehicle to better accommodate his family for everyday trips, formally received the keys to their new MG G50 PHEV—becoming among the first owners of MG’s newest plug-in hybrid MPV in the country.

With units now arriving in the country, MG Motor Philippines has officially begun releasing the MG G50 PHEV to customers nationwide. The G50 PHEV retails for P1,398,888, making it an affordable and modern option in the seven-seater MPV segment.
