When the X3 plug-in hybrid was launched in the Philippines, it was first offered as an athletic M Sport model. This time around, the X3 plug-in hybrid is bringing a more rugged aesthetic with the launch of a new, more affordable xLine variant. Say hello to the BMW X3 30e xDrive xLine plug-in hybrid, which offers a great balance of features and value, thanks to its more accessible price tag.
Immediately noticeable is the kidney grille with the Iconic Glow accent LED lighting, while the 19-inch two-tone wheels add sophistication to its overall design. Adaptive LED headlights are also fitted as standard for optimum and dazzle-free illumination, even with the lights in high beam.
Moving inside the BMW X3 plug-in hybrid xLine, the interior is finished in premium materials that are matched with sumptuous build quality. Veganza leather upholstery is used throughout, whilst power adjustment for the front seats is fitted as standard. Multi-color ambient LED lighting is also strategically placed across the interior for a striking interior look. Occupants will also appreciate the Harman Kardon sound system, as well as the three-zone automatic climate control.
As with many BMWs these days, the X3 plug-in hybrid xLine comes with two large screens that run the latest BMW Operating System 9. This is controlled via the touchscreen or the signature rotary knob controller in the center console. Drivers are also greeted by a windshield-projected head-up display, while the built-in navigation has an augmented view. Through the forward-facing camera, navigation overlays are projected through the image feed in the digital gauge cluster, thus making it easy for drivers to identify which specific lane and junction they need to turn.
Lastly, the BMW X3 plug-in hybrid xLine also comes with the BMW ConnectedDrive telematics, along with a host of advanced safety features, including Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Driving Assistant Plus, and Parking Assistant Plus with 360-degree camera functionality.
Powering the new BMW X3 plug-in hybrid xLine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor integrated into the ZF eight-speed automatic. This provides a strong combined output of 299 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Fitted with electronic xDrive all-wheel drive, the X3 plug-in hybrid xLine sprints from 0 to 100 kph in just 6.2 seconds. For sustainable yet relaxing drives, its 90-kilometer pure electric range will more than suit your daily drives in pure silence.
The new BMW X3 30e xDrive xLine plug-in hybrid is now on sale across all of the brand’s dealerships nationwide, and it retails at an introductory price of P4,498,000.
