Ford Philippines is expanding the Territory Hybrid lineup with the addition of a new, more premium variant. Say hello to the new 2027 Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum, which promises more luxury and premium features for a price tag of P1,655,000.
The Territory Hybrid Platinum makes its mark from the outside with its added premium touches. At the front, a black graphic element visually connects the LED headlights to the grille, while the roof and mirrors are now painted black. There are also new 19-inch wheels, which feature a unique pattern versus what’s in the Titanium X. Topping it all off is a Platinum script written across its front end. Moonbay Blue is a new, exclusive paint choice for the Territory Hybrid Platinum.
Step inside the 2027 Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum, and you’ll appreciate the brightness of the white interior, though we suspect this will be a challenge to maintain its cleanliness. The seats are upholstered in quilted leather, while those at the front benefit from seat ventilation. To further drive the point that you’re not just driving any other Territory, the Platinum variant also comes with Platinum-branded door sill plates.
As for features, the Platinum variant builds upon the features of the Titanium X, such as a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a panoramic glass roof, a powered tailgate, ambient LED lighting, and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster. The 12-inch touchscreen in this variant is still linked to an Arkamys sound system, but it has been enhanced with a center speaker and a subwoofer. This allows the speakers to recreate 5.1 surround sound. Lastly, there’s also a Digital Scent feature, which basically lets you choose between six scent profiles.
Powering the 2027 Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum is the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor and a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). Its system output is 218 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque.
Lastly, this high-end variant of the Territory Hybrid benefits from enhancements for its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Specifically, its adaptive cruise control comes with Traffic Jam Assist and Integrated Cruise Assist, which allow for a higher degree of semi-autonomous driving during long drives.
The new 2027 Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum is now on sale across all of the brand’s dealerships nationwide.
