Ford Philippines has launched the 2027 Ford Everest alongside the updated Ranger. The Everest is one of the Blue Oval brand’s most important models, and for this model year, the updates are mostly mechanical.
Initially making its debut in Australia and Thailand, the 2027 Ford Everest now comes with an available 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine. This engine used to be reserved primarily for right-hand drive (RHD) markets, and it produces 247 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. This engine traces its lineage to the Ford Lion V6, which was a family of V6 diesel engines developed by Ford for Jaguar and Land Rover.
Sitting below the V6 is the 2.0-liter turbo (single turbo) that we’ve grown familiar with, but it comes with numerous mechanical improvements. This comes in the form of a new timing chain and an updated fuel injection system. This engine produces 168 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, while your only transmission option for this engine and the V6 is a 10-speed automatic.
As for its design, the 2027 Ford Everest remains largely similar to the pre-updated model. We’re not sure if we’ll call it a facelift, since most of the changes are related to its paint and trims, but it is what it is. The distinct C-clamp LED daytime running lights surrounding the LED headlights remain, while other updates come in the form of new wheel designs, new colors, and new variants.
Four variants of the Everest are available, with the base Active for P1,949,000 getting gray 18-inch wheels and multi-reflector LED headlights. This variant also gets a 12-inch SYNC4 infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Even the base Sport gets some degree of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which in this case includes Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Forward Collision Warning.
Moving up to the new Sport+ variant that retails for P2,219,000, you now get 20-inchblack wheels, a two-tone leather interior, a 360-degree camera, and the full suite of ADAS features that includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go.
Wildtrak also makes its return in the new Everest, and this gets 20-inch wheels, Ignite Orange exterior accents, gloss black wheel arches, and a four-wheel drive (4WD) system. This variant is priced at P2,669,000.
Lastly, the range-topping Platinum gets 21-inch wheels, a new grille with a chrome mesh pattern, a black contrasting roof, adaptive matrix LED headlights, and the PLATINUM wordmark is placed across the front fascia. This variant gets a 12-speaker B&O sound system, a panoramic glass roof, and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, just to name a few. As the pinnacle of the Everest lineup, it understandably costs the most at P2,849,000.
The new 2027 Ford Everest is now on sale across all of the brand’s dealerships.
