When the facelifted Honda Civic was launched earlier this year, it shrunk the compact sedan’s variants from four (4) to three (3). The base S variant with a manual transmission was removed, and the mid-level E and high-trim EL variant came standard with Modulo and Mugen bodykits, respectively. For its 2015 model year, the Honda Civic has received another update, this time focusing on the interior, and the re-introduction of the 1.8 S manual variant and non-bodykitted models of the E and EL variants.
From three variants, there are now 6 to choose from. Listed below are the prices of each Honda Civic variant.
- 2.0 EL Mugen: P1,368,000
- 2.0 EL: P1,238,000
- 1.8 E Modulo: P1,118,000
- 1.8 E: P1,058,000
- 1.8 S AT: P988,000
- 1.8 S MT: P948,000
All models are now fitted with an all-black interior theme, which brings a sporty vibe to the Civic’s cabin, regardless of the trim level. New features have also been introduced to select variants. Smart key with push-button start, 60:40 split folding rear seats, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers are now equipped to the 1.8 E and 2.0 EL variants. New features exclusive to the 2.0 EL variants include a host of safety features such as Hill Start Assist, and front passenger seatbelt reminder.
With so much variants and models now offered by Honda for the Philippine market, there certainly has never been a better time to buy a new Honda.
