Nearly Mazda Philippines’ entire lineup has been updated for this year. This includes the 2022 Mazda CX-3, which gains a number of features while also further improving on its premium feel that Mazdas have lately been known for.
Two variants are available: Sport (as shown in Polymetal Gray) and Elegance. (as shown in Snowflake White Pearl). The main difference between the two is simply in the details. The Sport variant has a gray grille and body-colored side mirrors, while the Elegance has a gloss black grille and side mirrors. The wheel pattern also differs across the two variants, but they’re both in 16-inches. Regardless of which variant you choose, you still get a stylish subcompact crossover SUV with full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and also LED taillights.
The interior of the 2022 Mazda CX-3 has also been updated with more premium materials and more standard features such as a 7-speaker Bose sound system, 7-inch Mazda Connect infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, electronic parking brake, just to name a few. Just like the exterior, the main difference between the two is also the aesthetics. Elegance gets a striking white leatherette with Grand Luxe (beige) suede upholstery, while Sport gets a more subdued black all-leatherette interior.
Both variants also share the same 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline engine that produces 150 hp and 195 Nm of torque, with power being sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic.
As for safety, the 2022 Mazda CX-3 gets six airbags, electronic stability control, reverse camera, and rear parking sensors.
“The Mazda CX-3 is a fun and practical urban crossover for many of our discerning customers,” says Steven Tan, President and CEO of Mazda Philippines. He adds, “Now, we have made it a more well-rounded offering with comfort, convenience, and safety features that enhance the total driving experience.”
