Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) previewed the all-new Thunder 2.0 at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show, earmarking a formidable strength and durability with a bigger, bolder, and tougher pick-up truck.

Dueñas.
The all-new Foton Thunder 2.0 is proudly assembled by Filipino, for the Filipinos. It runs on a strong yet fuel-efficient 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 160 hp and 390 Nm of torque, and this is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, driving just the rear wheels. A 4×2 and 4×4 automatic will eventually be sold.
The all-new Foton Thunder 2.0 showcases a masculine and sporty exterior design as it comes standard with roll-bars, cargo hooks for easy cargo mounting, large tail lamps, LED daytime running lights fog lamps, and a large sporty grill bearing a FOTON logo.
As for its interior, it boasts a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with an exquisite leather seat cover, a 10.25-inch floating LCD touchscreen to satisfy your infotainment needs, a 6-inch digital LCD instrument panel to display vital vehicle information, and an interior lamp whose light changes color according to your mood. Other features include smart entry with push-button start and a Car Finder Button. Lastly, the Foton Thunder 2.0 comes with electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, and six airbags.
To top off the entire package, the All-New Thunder 2.0 comes with a 3-year warranty or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. This is further backed by Foton’s extensive customer service program that includes the first-in-the-industry on-site service of EC Mobile Truck.
Pricing for the Foton Thunder 2.0 will be announced closer to its launch.
