Seven months since its launch, the new 2023 Honda BR-V has become Honda Cars Philippines Inc.’s (HCPI) best-selling model locally. Recognized among the frontrunners in its segment, sales of the new BR-V reached over 5,000 units to date, claiming the top spot on HCPI’s sales charts.
Honda says this highlights the nameplate’s exceptional qualities that have resonated with customers, namely its “distinct SUV appeal that’s confident and classy”, along with its comfortable and versatile interior, powerful and fuel-efficient engine, advanced features, and top-notch safety–especially for the Honda Sensing-equipped VX variant.
In a fuel economy run conducted in 2022 in partnership with the Automotive Association Philippines (AAP), the new BR-V also achieved remarkable fuel efficiency:
- 22.62 km/l – 1.5 S CVT
- 24.71 km/l – 1.5 V CVT
- 23.49 km/l – 1.5 VX CVT Honda SENSING
Honda’s advanced suite of driver-assist technologies, the Honda Sensing is also available in the VX CVT, with the following features:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
- Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)
- Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Auto-High Beam (AHB)
