Take A Look At The Next-Generation 2025 Nissan Kicks

The 2025 Nissan Kicks has finally been unveiled, bringing with it a completely new look, better tech, and improved interior space.

Yes, what you’re seeing here is the next-generation 2025 Nissan Kicks. Making its debut today in the United States, the new Kicks enters its second generation, completely redesigned from the ground up with sharper styling, larger dimensions, more tech, and a more premium interior.

Beginning with its looks, the 2025 Nissan Kicks has been completely redesigned from the ground up, possessing a completely different character than the model it replaces. The front end has horizontal LED stacked vertically with the main LED headlights sitting on top. The boxier shape is contrasted by a curvaceous roofline that has the option to be painted in a contrasting color (red in the case of the model in these photos). At the rear, the LED taillights are joined together by a black trim piece that visually connects the otherwise two separate lighting units.

As mentioned, the new Kicks is incrementally bigger. than before. The new Kicks measures 4,366 mm (+66 mm) in length, 1,801 mm in width (+41 mm), and 1,626-1,631 mm (+11-16 mm) in height, depending on the variant. Weirdly enough, the wheelbase differs depending if you’re getting the front-wheel drive (FWD) at 2,657 mm, or all-wheel drive (AWD) at 2,664 mm.

The increased dimensions should also result in increased interior space, which has also seen a complete glow-up from the previous model. Entry-level models get dual 7-inch screens, while the higher variants come with two 12.3-inch screens. The dash design is inspired by the Ariya electric crossover, whilst boasting more premium materials than before. Unfortunately, the buttons and switches have been ditched in favor of touch-capacitive ones, but at least these aren’t buried in the Nissan Connect infotainment. Available optional features, depending on the variant, include four USB-C charging ports, wired or wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system.

The 2025 Nissan Kicks you’re seeing here is the US market specification. For their market, the Kicks gets a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 139 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque. This is mated to a CVT that drives the front or all four wheels.

Here in Asia, the Kicks is exclusively sold with the e-Power series hybrid system. We still have yet to wait on what the Kicks e-Power will look like and what will be powering it.

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is expected to hit showroom floors in the North American market in the late summer of 2024 (around August-September) before eventually being sold globally.
