Facelifted 2025 Porsche 911 (992.2) Arrives In PH Shores

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera has officially arrived in the Philippines, receiving improved looks and tech, as well as better performance.

Porsche Philippines today officially announces the local availability of the facelifted 2025 Porsche 911. Codenamed 992.2, the new 911 builds upon the successful formula of the iconic sports car, but with incremental improvements that help it remain at the pinnacle of ultimate driving pleasure.

The facelift currently applies to the hybridized Carrera GTS and the 911 Carrera, the latter being the first model that was first brought into the Philippines. With that, its 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six has been incrementally upgraded to produce 388 horsepower (from 379 horsepower) but torque remains the same at 450 Nm. Likewise, the performance improvements are just as incremental, with the 0-100 kph time of just 4.1 seconds (or 3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package as fitted in the Philippine spec model), both of which are a tenth faster than before. Its 294 kph top speed is also 1 kph faster than the pre-facelift model.

Furthermore, the current 2025 Porsche 911 model range only comes with the eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic. Those who want a manual shall wait for the Carrera S until the 2026 model year, and that’s also the case for the Turbo, Turbo S, GT3 RS, and Targa models.

Now, as for its design, the 911 Carrera’s exterior changes are very incremental in typical Porsche fashion. These are limited to a slightly redesigned front and rear bumper, a new design for the adaptive matrix LED headlights, slightly redesigned LED full-width taillights with the “PORSCHE” script now illuminated, and new alloy wheels. Overall, while the changes are minor, they still manage to improve the overall design of the 911 whilst maintaining its identity in the modern era.

The same is true for its interior. The predominantly horizontal dash remains largely similar and is finished in premium and high-end materials. It’s also more modern than before, though that modernity comes at the expense of a few Porsche traditions.

For starters, gone is the middle analog tachometer that’s graced the gauges of the 911 for nearly 60 years. In its place is a fully digital 12.6-inch screen that works in tandem with the 10.9-inch Porsche Communication Management infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also gone are the rear seats, though they are a no-cost option if you still want them. What will be nearly universally missed is the switch from a twistable simulated key mounted on the left side of the dash in favor of a starter button.

Other features that you get in the 911 Carrera include a Bose surround sound system, 14-way power-adjustable front seats, adaptive matrix LED headlights, leather upholstery, a tire pressure monitoring system, among other features.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera is now available for ordering at the Porsche Philippines showroom. For pricing and other inquiries, you can visit them at EDSA Greenhills, or in Bonifacio Global City and SM Seaside Cebu.
