Together with the fully-electric Mini Aceman, Mini Philippines has also brought into the Philippines the 2025 Mini Cooper 5-Door. As the more practical and versatile version of the iconic Mini Cooper, the new 5-Door variant will satisfy those who seek a practical premium hatch with legendary style.

The new generation 2025 Mini Cooper originally debuted in three-door form in the Philippines in September 2024. Just like the three-door Cooper, the Cooper 5-Door features the brand’s Charismatic Simplicity design language. This is characterized by a simpler look that’s more modern and fresher to look at.

Traditional design cues such as the round LED headlights are preserved, but the grille is now color-matched to the body. The side profile has a cleaner, more monolithic look, while the rear fascia comes with triangular LED taillights that feature a graphical design that mimics the Union Jack flag of the UK.
Of course, the 2025 Mini Cooper 5-Door sets itself apart from the standard Cooper with its longer wheelbase to accommodate the rear doors. As a result, the Cooper 5-Door is longer at 4,036 mm, and slightly taller at 1,464 mm. Width remains the same at 1,744 mm.

Like the exterior, the interior is very minimalistic, wherein the visual clutter has been reduced to a minimum. Your eyes are immediately drawn toward the circular 9.5-inch Mini Operating System 9 and the array of toggle-based controls. Speaking of the screen, the operating system is based on the Android Open Source Project, and it comes with the usual wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a voice assistant called the Mini Intelligent Personal Assistant.
Moving towards those toggles, that’s where the gear selector has been located. This frees up the center console for more storage as well as a wireless charger. Elsewhere, the interior is made of premium materials, and in the name of sustainability, the dash and top of the door panels are made out of recycled polyester. Even the seats have no animal skin as this is made out of “Vescin”, a synthetic leather material.
Only one range-topping variant of the 2025 Mini Cooper 5-Door is being offered in the Philippines, and that’s the Cooper S 5-Door. This model gets a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder that produces 204 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, which drives the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). This is good enough for a 0-100 kph time of 6.8 seconds.
The 2025 Mini Cooper 5-Door is now available in all Mini dealerships nationwide: Mini Bonifacio Global City, Mini Pampanga, Mini Alabang Town Center Pop-Up, and Mini Cebu. The 5-Door model retails for P3,799,000, a P100,000 premium over the standard Cooper with three doors.
