2025 Hyundai Creta Now In PH, Priced From P1.134M

The 2025 Hyundai Creta has finally arrived in the Philippines, bringing a much-needed refresh to the still-popular subcompact crossover SUV.

Hyundai’s popular Creta subcompact SUV has been given a mid-cycle facelift, bringing a much-needed design, technological, and performance refresh. Thanks to these updates, along with competitive pricing, the 2025 Hyundai Creta aims to remain relevant in this ever-growing segment.

Immediately giving a strong first impression is its redesigned front end, now containing a host of boxy-themed shapes. The grille is now rectangular, and this is complemented by separate headlight clusters. The Premium and N Line variants get LED main headlights, along with full-width LED daytime running lights. The side profile remains largely unchanged, while the rear end features a redesigned tailgate to accommodate the full-width LED taillights.

For the first time, Hyundai is adding a sporty N Line variant to the Creta. Setting itself apart from the standard Creta is its more aggressive front end, wherein the grille is slimmer whilst containing a sportier front bumper. This variant also gets unique 18-inch wheels, a tailgate spoiler, and sportier rear bumpers.

Likewise, as we move to the interior, the N Line variant also gets a sportier design. The leatherette seats are complemented by a host of red highlights surrounding the interior, along with cooled seats for the front occupants. Take note, however, that cooled seats are offered on all but the base GL.

The GL also makes do with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as fabric seats. All three other variants are finished in leatherette upholstery, whilst also featuring two 10.25-inch screens for the digital gauges and the main infotainment screen.

Other features worth highlighting include the Hyundai SmartSense suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which is fitted to the Premium and N Line. Hyundai SmartSense is composed of full-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, lane keeping assist, and lane centering. Exclusive to the N Line, however, are a 360-degree camera and the blind spot warning camera.

For the first time ever, the 2025 Hyundai Creta is being offered with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque. This sends power to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). All other variants continue to feature a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder that produces 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque, sending power to the front wheels via a CVT.

With four variants in total, along with competitive pricing, the 2025 Hyundai Creta aims to remain competitive in the subcompact crossover SUV segment, especially amid Chinese rivals, particularly hybrid ones, eating into the market share of the established brands.

  • GL – P1,134,000
