The new generation 2026 Toyota Hilux is officially debuting on November 10, as confirmed by Toyota Thailand through a teaser video.
Of course, the teaser video doesn’t reveal much–only the slimmer LED headlights, new LED taillights, and new alloy wheels– but spy shots that have been circulating the web for a while now confirm that the new Hilux is not going to be a full redesign.
The 2026 Toyota Hilux, however, will feature a drastically redesigned interior, as a leaked patent filing reveals that it will come with a new horizontal dash design. As with many vehicles these days, the new Hilux’s interior will feature two large screens: a digital gauge cluster and a main infotainment screen.
Since it will carry over the same IMV platform as the current model–albeit with heavy reengineering–the new Hilux will most likely use the same 2.4-liter and 2.8-liter turbo diesel engines as before. A third facelift in 2024 introduced 48-volt mild-hybrid electrification to the 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine, helping it produce 203 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, which is the same as the non-electrified 2.8-liter turbo diesel.
That’s pretty much all the details we know so far about the upcoming 2026 Toyota Hilux, so for now, do stay tuned to Go Flat Out PH to keep yourselves updated about Toyota’s upcoming sensational hit.
