2027 Nissan X-Trail e-Power Arrives In PH, Priced From P2.290M

The 2027 Nissan X-Trail has now arrived in the Philippines in e-Power form, priced at P2,290,000 to compete with the RAV4 and CR-V.

Nissan Philippines has a four-car display at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), and one of its key highlights is the local launch of the 2027 Nissan X-Trail e-Power. Nissan has been lacking a compact crossover SUV to compete with the RAV4 and CR-V for a while now, but today, that void has finally been filled by a hybrid offering that is powered by the brand’s signature e-Power series hybrid technology.

Though Nissan has already shown a preview of the next-generation X-Trail, what we’re getting is the current, fourth-generation model. Besides, the next-generation X-Trail isn’t slated to begin production until around 2027. Anyway, with the X-Trail e-Power, what it gets is a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder that solely acts as a generator to charge the battery. The electric motor that powers the wheels produces 204 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. It is good for a total driving range of 1,039 kilometers.

Now, as for the way this car looks, the 2027 Nissan X-Trail e-Power that was brought into the market is already the facelifted version. The facelift introduces a bolder interpretation of the V-Motion grille, and that is coupled with a more aggressive front bumper design. There’s also a set of multi-spoke 19-inch wheels and a black contrasting roof for a more striking silhouette. At the rear, the X-Tral gets LED taillights and additional chrome detailing on the rear bumpers.

Inside, the 2027 Nissan X-Trail features a modern dashboard with horizontal lines to emphasize the feeling of space. There’s plenty of soft-touch materials, silver and gray trims, along with matte faux wood on the dash. Even the center console has a brushed aluminum-like texture, which is refreshing to see amidst a ton of vehicles with gloss black plastics.

As for its features, there are two 12.3-inch screens with the latest version of the NissanConnect operating system, and it comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Those at the front are treated to power-adjustable seats, while there’s also a panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, a powered tailgate, and even rear window shades.

The 2027 Nissan X-Trail also comes with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, which includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera system, among other features. Oddly enough, however, the X-Trail only comes with normal cruise control, and not the radar-guided adaptive cruise control.

Deliveries of the 2027 Nissan X-Trail begin this month, with prices starting at P2,290,000. The available colors include Cardinal Red Metallic (which doesn’t come with the black roof), Stealth Pearl Gray, Everest White, and Sahara Dune Metallic.
