2027 Xpeng X9 Now On Sale In PH, Priced From P3.858M

The 2027 Xpeng X9 has finally arrived in the Philippines, and it's a fully electric luxury alternative to the Denza D9 and Toyota Alphard.

Xpeng Philippines launched with a bang at its brand launch at SM Mall of Asia Arena with over 3,000 attendees, and one of its initial models is the X9 flagship luxury electric van. The 2027 Xpeng X9 is meant to rival the Denza D9, along with more traditional competitors like the Toyota Alphard.

Its wedge-shaped design immediately sets it apart from other luxury vans. It clearly doesn’t look like anything else on the road or in its segment. The sleek profile enables the X9 to be one of the most aerodynamic vans on sale, with an ultra-low drag coefficient of just 0.236. Complementing the sleek shape are tech-savvy details that highlight Xpeng’s innovative design approach, such as the enclosed grille, the full-width LED light bar, and separate main LED headlights with adaptive lighting.

At the sides, the X9 has flush door handles along with sculpted lines to accentuate its wedge-shaped aesthetic. 20-inch wheels are standard, and the Xpeng logo on those wheels always stays upright, like on a Rolls-Royce. Of course, the sliding doors are power-operated, and the rear end contains full-width LED taillights with the Xpeng wordmark also illuminated as part of the taillights.

Moving inside the 2027 Xpeng X9, you will see an interior that is truly plush and finished in the finest materials. There’s a generous serving of Nappa Leather and satin silver trims, along with matte wood textures that brighten the interior vibe. There’s thankfully no gloss black surfaces, but we’d wish that Xpeng still gave the interior more physical controls.

Speaking of which, most controls are centered around its 17.3-inch touchscreen that’s powered by Xpeng’s Xmart OS. It has telematics services, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also a 27-speaker surround sound system and a large 21-inch head-up display for the driver to complement the 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster. Other amenities include two glass roofs, a 21.4-inch rear entertainment system, 14-way power-adjustable Zero Gravity captain’s chairs with 10-point massage, plus heating and cooling.

For P200,000 more, the Second Row Premium Seat Package turns those Zero Gravity captain’s chairs into wider thrones, thus eliminating the center aisle. This also adds power adjustment for the headrests, plus six additional pressure points for the seat massage. Even third-row occupants of the X9 get power adjustment, and this also allows the third row to be stored automatically under the rear floor.

Powering the 2027 Xpeng X9 is a single front-wheel drive (FWD) electric motor that produces 315 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This is good for a 7.7-second 0-100 kph time. With a 110-kWh lithium-ion NMC battery, the Xpeng X9 has a WLTP-rated range of 615 kilometers, while the 800-volt electrical architecture enables ultra-rapid DC fast charging of up to 542 kW. This is good for a 10 to 80 percent charge in just 12 minutes, though with up to 11 kW of AC charging, it takes 11 hours if it is charged at this output.

The 2027 Xpeng X9 is now on sale in the Philippines for P3,858,000 or P4,058,000 when opting for the Second Row Premium Seat Package. X9 customers receive five years of free preventive maintenance services, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor, and a 7 kW wall charger.

Customers may reserve the 2027 Xpeng X9 for P25,000 by sending a message to @xpengphilippines on Facebook or Instagram. Deliveries to customers are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Availability may vary depending on the selected model, variant, color, and dealer allocation.

Reservations may also be made through Xpeng dealerships in Greenhills, Makati, North EDSA, and Cebu. Additional dealerships are expected to be announced as Xpeng Philippines expands its sales and service network and brings its vehicles closer to customers across the country.
